In Christ there is the opportunity to believe, become and belong. Belief is the first step in Christianity. It is turning from self and sin to the Savior. Faith is the entrance into relationship with Christ that is real, personal and eternal. It is surrendering the reins of your life to Christ. Becoming is growing more and more like Christ by obedience to the Word of God and submission to the Holy Spirit. Being conformed to the image of Christ is a lifelong process. This next step in becoming a devoted follower of Christ is the will of God for every believer. Belonging is when a believer enters into relationship with other believers in church capacity. Within the church there is opportunity to be served and to serve others. Discipleship is more than just getting saved, it is saved people faithfully serving and making disciples within the church.
